Zurich and Aargau police raided an indoor cannabis grow in Spreitenbach (canton Aargau) on 19 March 2026, acting on tips. They also carried out three house searches in canton Zurich.

Three men were arrested: a 36-year-old German, a 26-year-old Kosovar and a 29-year-old Albanian. Police seized about 24,000 plants and roughly one tonne of cannabis products. They also found weapons, ammunition, a bulletproof vest and cash, about 30,000 euros and 11,000 francs.

The men are suspected of narcotics-law violations and of breaking entry rules, and they were handed to the prosecutor's office. They are not named, and no verdict has been reported.

Why it matters: The men are suspects only. The case has gone to prosecutors, and the report gives no charges or court outcome.
