He is charged with trafficking and held at Franceville prison. No trial outcome is reported.

A Gabonese mason and father of five was arrested in the Alliance neighbourhood of Moanda during a routine anti-drug operation, according to Gabon Media Time citing L'Union. The report names him as Evra Moussadji Kassa. Thirty cannabis 'bonbons' weighing about 20 grams, worth roughly 45,000 FCFA, were allegedly hidden in a small cement bag.

The prosecutor at the Franceville Court of First Instance charged him with trafficking and ordered pretrial detention. He is held at Franceville central prison while the investigation continues. No trial outcome is reported.

Why it matters: Twenty grams is worth under eighty US dollars, yet he is in prison before any trial. This is the small-time, high-stakes case at the centre of Forgotten Prisoner.
