Police stopped a 27-year-old man in Nicosia and found about 1 kg of cannabis in his vehicle. A further 105 g was found during a search of his home. Police also reported finding cannabis cigarettes, mobile phones, cash and precision scales.
His 23-year-old partner, who was present at the search, was also arrested. Both were due before the Nicosia district court the same day, and police say investigations are continuing. Neither is named, and no outcome is reported.
