Two men and a woman were charged in Barbados with trafficking and importing cannabis. About 110.2 kg of suspected cannabis was seized, valued at roughly BBD 1.76 million. The alleged offences are dated 25 June 2026.

The report names the three as Arshad Patel, Mariah Chante Shernell Parris and Julian Omar Jemmott, as printed in the source. They appeared before a magistrate and were not asked to plead. They were remanded to Dodds prison and the matter was moved to 6 July 2026.

Why it matters: They were remanded without being asked to plead, so the case has not yet been heard. The drug is described only as suspected cannabis.
